Obituary of Carol J. Koba

Sherrill-Carol J. Koba, 67, of Sherrill passed away peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital on February 7, 2023 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Carol was born on April 22, 1955 to Carl and Shirley Campbell in Rome, New York. During her life Carol has made many friends working twelve years at Oneida Molded Plastics and another twelve years at Turning Stone Casino. Carol was a wonderful mother, nana, sister and friend who will never be forgotten. She is survived by two children, Lawrence Koba of Coconut Creek, FL and Melissa Koba of Vernon, two grandchildren, Dylan Koba and Emily Newman. Three sisters, Linda (Dennis) Fogg, Kim Campbell, Brenda (Steve) Vetter, one brother Carl (Butch) Campbell and several nieces and nephews. Carol also leaves her beloved cat Nila. In keeping with Carol's wishes there will be no services. The family wishes to thank everyone at Roswell Cancer Center in Oneida for everything they have done for Carol.
