Obituary of William F. Hall

William F. "Willie Hall Munnsville-William F. "Willie" Hall, age 73, of Moore Road passed away unexpectedly Sunday afternoon May 31, 2015 in Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center with his loving wife at his side. He was born on May 7, 1942 in Williamstown, New York a son of the late Frank and Nettie (Crouse) Hall and was a graduate of V.V.S. Central School class of 1958. On February 15, 1964 Willie enlisted with the United States Air Force and proudly served his country during the Viet Nam War and was honorably discharged on February 14, 1968. On July 14, 1974 Willie and Carolyn Jones were united in marriage in Oneida, New York and the couple has shared a loving union of over forty years together. Prior to his retirement in 2010 Willie was employed with Rome Research at Rome Air Base with over thirty-two years of service and had previous employment was with General Electric of Syracuse for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, spending time with his family and friends and a good card game. He was a longtime member of the Munnsville American Legion Post 54. Surviving are his loving wife, Carolyn of Munnsville, his children, Cali (Crystal)Hall of Canastota, Jami (Riley)Hall of CO, and Owen Manaseri of Oneida, Sherrie of Ct. and Gregory of Fl., six grandchildren, Patrick and Samantha Manaseri and Dilon, Kaitlyn Rae, Abriella and Marshall Hall, one sister Linda (Danny) Meachan, brother-in-law, Jack Upfold and his son Jeff, brother-in-law, Calvin Cooper, and extended family, Bryan Jones, Scott Miller, Sean Miller and Chris Fisher and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday June 5, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 23 Front Street, Vernon.
