Obituary of Susan D. Wickham

Canastota-Susan D. Wickham, age 73, of Lewis Point Road passed away Monday evening, October 10, 2022 in the Oneida Health Care with her family at her side.

  She was born on March 11, 1949 in Oneida, New York a daughter of the late Edward and Dolores (Pole) Newman and was a graduate of Oneida High School and Bryant & Stratton College.

  On July 1, 1967 Susan and Paul L. Wickham were united in marriage and shared that vow of over fifty-one years together until Paul’s death on May 23, 2019.

  Prior to her retirement Susan was employed with Liberty Tax services in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

  She loved spending time with her family and trips to the casino.

  Surviving are three daughters, Kelly (Don deceased) Miller, Kathy Wickham, Kristen (Allen) Richmond, one son Kevin (Jennifer) Wickham, seven grandchildren, Charlie, Kimberly, Brandon (Samantha), Collin, Cassidy, Kelsey and Kaden, four great-grandchildren, Cameron, Kaylee, Austin and Charlie Jr., one brother Douglas Newman, one aunt Arlene Kamilow and several nieces and nephews.

 Susan was predeceased by her siblings, Curt, Lynda, Denise and Mary.

 Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, October 14, 202 at 6:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 417 Park Street, Sherrill, NY. The family will greet fiends after the service at the Sherrill American Legion Post 230, 168 E. Seneca Street, Sherrill, NY. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home of Sherrill.
