Obituary of Olive C. Byrne

Olive C. Byrne, 96, wife of the late E. Albert Byrne, passed away at home, surrounded by family, on November 18, 2021. Olive and Al were married at St. Francis Church in Durhamville on September 1, 1945. She was the daughter of John and Rose Jyhajlo Cmaylo and was predeceased by siblings Marie (Griff), Estelle and Wesley. She is survived by her children: Kathleen (Dennis) Ford of Monrovia, MD, David (Heidi) Byrne of Waianae HI, Michael (Ann) Byrne of Morrisville, NY, and Kevin (Betsy) Byrne of Manlius, NY. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren: Jennifer (Will Harp, son: Henry), Heather Ford, Nicole (Jose Navarro-deceased, children: Che, Analuz), Rebecca Ford, Tracy (Bill Fox, children: Emily, Timothy Jose (T.J.), Katie), Emily (James Secor, son: Eben), and Sarah Byrne, and by many nieces and nephews. The family thanks Olive's caregivers, Darlene and Shirley, for their loving care. At Olive's request, there will be no calling hours. Interment will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to your favorite charity.
