Obituary of Bowman B.H. "Bo" Evans

Chelmsford MA-Bowman "Bo" H.G. Evans, 93, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, died peacefully at home October 3, 2021 with his beloved wife of 45 years, Julie by his side. He was the son of the late Henry and Doris Swan Evans. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Chelmsford. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving on the submarine, U.S.S. Bugara. Bowman was employed by TRW/Northrop Grumman for 43 years, retiring as District Marketing Manager in 2000. He was Regional Vice President and Honorary Life Member of AFCEA (Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association). He enjoyed golfing, skiing, scuba diving and life on Hart Pond. A private viewing and visitation was held at Dolan Funeral Home. A graveside service with Deacon James Chappell celebrating was held on November 6, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Helena's Cemetery in Sherrill, New York where family attended and the United States Navy performed military honors.
