Obituary of Robert A. Eaton

Munnsville- Robert A. "Bob" Eaton, age 76, of Main Street passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, February 15, 2021 at his home with his loving family at his side. Bob was born on October 9, 1944 in Augusta, New York the last surviving child of Lewis and Hattie (Towsley) Eaton's fourteen children. He attended Madison Schools. Prior to his retirement Bob was employed as a laborer with the Stockbridge Highway Department. In his spare time Bob enjoyed hunting and spending time with friends at the Munnsville American Legion and Jack's or Better. Bob most enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his daughter Paula and granddaughter Tricia who both spent many good times with him. He was happiest when he was spending time with his great-grandson's Jaden and Jaxon who always made him smile. Surviving are one daughter, Paula Miles, and a son Robert Eaton both of Oneida, his grandchildren, Tricia Miles of Munnsville, Jeremy (Maci) Miles of GA, Kaitlyn Irving of PA and Savannah Eaton of Munnsville, two great-grandsons, Jaden Miles of Munnsville and Jaxon Miles of GA, his loving companion of 16 years Tammy Lighthall and her daughter Samantha Lighthall, one sister-in-law Linda Eaton of Munnsville and many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents and thirteen siblings. At Bob's request there will be no calling hours or funeral services. A celebration in memory of Bob's life will be held at a later date.
