Greg was one of my best friends. The last several years we only saw each other limited times during the year but we always picked up where we left off. Greg was a man of many talents. We played softball together for close to a decade. He was an excellent player and could have played with any team in the league. He chose to be on a team that had fun despite whether they won or lost. Luckily I was on that team. He anchored a team with a competitive spirit and we shared a lot of laughs. We fished Fish Creek in the spring and ice fished Oneida Lake in the winter. We took many Ocean charters to fish the shores off the Northeast coast. Each fall we hunted deer in the southern tier and most years enjoyed the ritual of cleaning our harvest and celebrating our good fortune by frying venison tenderloins in Greg’s garage, washed down by a few brews. I have many memories of the good times I spent with him. I loved Greg like the brother I never had and I will miss him dearly. I will miss his infectious laugh, sense of humor, good nature and positive attitude. My condolences to his loving family and the many friends he made along the way.

I have thought of Greg many times over the years even though I haven't seen him for nearly 50 years. Greg was always great to be around and there to help. The yellow 57 Chevy was special and we had some memorable times. His memory will live on for ever. Our thoughts and prayers are with all his family and friends.
