Obituary of Elizabeth F. Marshall

Elizabeth F. (Betty) Marshall Munnsville Elizabeth F. (Betty) Marshall, 79, of 6070 Haslauer Road, Munnsville, died Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Oneida Healthcare Extended Care Facility, Oneida. She was born on September 11, 1935, in Stockbridge, the daughter of Melvin and Marion Herrington Frost. Betty lived in the Munnsville area all her life and graduated from Stockbridge Valley Central School in 1953. She worked as a stenographer/secretary for 34 years starting out at Stockbridge Valley Central School and retiring at Madison-Oneida BOCES, LINKS program in January of 1996. She enjoyed reading, working on crossword puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, F. John Marshall Jr. of Munnsville, James and Cindy Marshall of Munnsville: two daughters, Donnalou Marshall of Oneida and Janet Griff of Munnsville, one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Janet Frost of Munnsville, three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Nancy and Fred Reed of Perry, Melva and William Durfee of Munnsville and Carol Frost of Verona; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, Karl and Evelyn Frost, who died in 1998. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2014, at the Malecki Funeral Home, 464 Sherrill Road, Sherrill for family and close friends.
