Obituary of Mark E. Wojdyla

Mark E. Wojdyla Sherrill-Mark E. Wojdyla, age 57, a longtime Sherrill resident passed away peacefully Friday evening, October 24, 2014 in the Oneida Healthcare Center surrounded by his loving family. Mark was born on September 28, 1957 in Rome, New York the son of John T. and Janet (Lunn) Wojdyla and was a graduate of V.V.S. Central School. On September 27, 1985 Mark and Catherine Barron were united in marriage in Holy Family Church of Vernon and though that marriage the couple was gifted with two beautiful and intelligent daughters, Jill and Laura. Mark was previously employed in the auto industry as a service a manager at various car dealerships with the longest employment being with Carbone Auto Sales. He was of the catholic faith. Surviving are his two daughters, Jill and Laura Wojdyla, his mother Janet L. Wojdyla, two sisters and Lee (Alan) Farrell and Lynn (Tim) Barber, several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mark was predeceased by his father John T. Wojdyla on June 2, 2014. In keeping with Mark's wishes, there will be no public calling hours or funeral services. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vernon, New York.
