Obituary of Jean M. Schuldt

SHERRILL >> Jean Marie Schuldt, 90, of Sherrill, NY, passed away early morning May 6th, 2017. She was born on August 24, 1926, in Buffalo, NY and is a daughter of Evelyn and Clyde Defler. Married to Orville E. Schuldt who passed away in 2005, Jean spent most of her life in Tonawanda, NY before moving to Sherrill. Surviving are her sisters, Jackie Hyde, Joanne Buckert, and Janice (Sally) Rohe; and her four children, John (Elyse) Schuldt, Jim (Leslie) Schuldt, Jill (Martin) Kratus, and Jeffrey (Diane) Schuldt. Also surviving are her seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, whom she was so proud of. She was predeceased by one sister, Jessica Olsowske. Jean enjoyed quilt making and baking, leaving behind her cherished Kuchen and sugar cookie recipes. She liked to be around people and had a sense of humor even until the day she died. A graveside service was held May 11th, at Elmlawn Cemetery in Kenmore, NY. There will be no public memorial, a private get-together will be shared by her children in which a glass of wine will be toasted in her honor.
