Obituary of Carolyn K. Jackson

Carolyn K. Jackson Westmoreland-Carolyn K. Jackson. 69 passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 19, 2016 at home. She was born on September 3, 1947 in Sharon, CT., the daughter of the late Sally and Richard V. Kain. She married Gary Jackson on June 3, 1989 and they resided on their farm in Westmoreland. Carolyn was involved in the horse circuit during her early years. She was an avid 4H member and bred Holstein cattle. Of them, she had three All Americans. Her greatest passion and joy was raising and taking care of their calves at their farm in Westmoreland. Carolyn married Gary Jackson on June 3, 1989. Besides her husband and beloved dog, Booker who was always at her side, she is survived by her brother Richard V. (Linda) Kain of Groton, NY, nieces, nephews and a number of close friends, A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
