Kenneth L. Nelson
Munnsville-Kenneth L. Nelson, age 79, formerly of Munnsville and previously of Chicago IL, passed away Thursday May 12, 2016 at the Pines Nursing Facility of Utica.
He was born on April 14, 1937 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania a son of the late Oscar J. and Mary Lou Nelson and was a graduate of the McKeesport Schools.
Ken served his county with the U.S. Air Force from 1955-1959 and was a member of the Munnsville American Legion.
Prior to his retirement Ken was employed with Agar Meat Processing Plant in Chicago, IL.
Surviving are his son John L. Nelson of Munnsville and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Ken's wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Private burial will take place at the family's convenience. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., Vernon, NY. Online condolences may be sent to maleckifuneralhome.com
