Obituary of David M. Northrup

David M. Northrup Sherrill-David M. Northrup, age 53, of Sherrill passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning, February 18, 2016 in Crouse Irving Hospital of Syracuse. He was born on September 3, 1962 in Oneida, New York a son of Richard L. and Theresa A. (Pawlikowski) Northrup and was a graduate of V.V.S. Class of 1981. David worked for Oneida Limited in the knife department for some time and later was employed with Hartman Enterprises for a short time. In his younger years he enjoyed bowling with his friends at the CAC, friends that he still has to this day that he enjoyed spending time. He also enjoyed car races and horse races at Vernon Downs. The family camp at Three Mile Bay was a hangout for David and his family where they could all enjoy themselves. He had a large train collection that was a "project in the works." Surviving are his loving mother, Theresa A. Northrup of Sherrill, brother Richard (Anita) Northrup of Center Valley, PA, brothers Douglas and Peter Northrup of Sherrill, sister Shawn (Aldo) Della Sera of Clearwater, FL. , paternal grandmother, Lucy Pawlikowski of Sherrill, nephews, Luigi Northrup and Dominic Della Sera, nieces Kala Northrup and Alexandra Della Sera, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 464 Sherrill Rd., Sherrill, NY. A celebration of David's life will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Helena's Church, Primo Ave., Sherrill, New York. Spring burial will be in St. Helena's Cemetery, Oneida, New York.
