Matilda R. Singer
Vernon-Matilda R. singer, age 93 of Townline Road passed away peacefully Thursday evening September 17, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on September 2, 1922 in Freeland , Pa a daughter of the late Leon and Josephine (Watlinsky) Zielasko and attended Whitelaw School.Also, Matilda attend a convent for one year.
Prior to her reitrement Matilda was employed with the knife plant of Oneida Limited Silversmiths and the Mansion House.
In Matilda's spare time she enjoyed sewing and making dolls. Matilda's love for the Polish culture was deep, and was something she was very proud of.
"Mama was an inspiration in all our lives (Our Angel on earth)."
Surviving are a daughter Rita (Jim) Szwejk, and her family, grandson Andy Szwejk and his significant other Carrie, great grandson Justin, great granddaughter Jessica, and a grandson Chris Szwejk. And a second daughter Carolyn (Frank) Dolson, and their family, granddaughter Julie Hillenbrand and her significant other Wyatt, great grandsons Geoffrey and Gary, a great greatgrandson Gray, a granddaughter Rhonda Sutton, great granddaughters Bryannia and Adriana. Also surviving another granddaughter Brenda Singer.
Matilda was pre deceased by her husband William Henery Singer, a son William James (Billy) Singer, and a great grandson Aiden.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Collen, Aly, Julie, Chris, and Andy.
